It is important to note that in order to adjust the tax value of a property, an individual property appraisal must be carried out and the original appraisal report must be submitted along with the application,&#187; said Lina Kanishauskene, Head of the Property Appraisal Department for State Purposes at the Register Center.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>Every year, the Register Center conducts a mass appraisal of all Lithuanian real estate (buildings and land plots) and recalculates the average market value. These values are equated to the tax values at least once every five years, based on which property taxes are calculated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>Property taxpayers have the right to submit a one-time application to the Register Center within three months from the beginning of the tax period (calendar year) to recognize the tax value of the real estate property, which is determined after an individual property appraisal.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"G-col G-col-article C-article__body-fs-1\">\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>Lina Kanishauskene, representative of the Register Center, emphasizes that the request must include the name, surname, date of birth (if a legal entity &#8212; the name and code of the legal entity), and the address of the place of residence (address of the legal entity&#8217;s location) of the person submitting the request.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>The application must be signed by all property owners.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>The request can be submitted in a free or prescribed form along with the original individual appraisal report through various methods:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>by email to info@registrucentras.lt,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>by mail to Lvovo St. 25-101, 09320,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>or by visiting the nearest customer
