The average price of gasoline increased by 1%, or 0.014 euros\/liter, last week, while diesel fuel increased by 2.3%, or 0.035 euros\/liter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>Gasoline prices have been rising for the third consecutive week, while the average price of diesel fuel has been rising for the fifth week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>Over the week, average gasoline prices increased by 0.8-2% in all comparable countries, except Estonia and Germany, where average prices decreased by 0.3% and 0.5% respectively. The average price of gasoline in Poland is 1.484 euros\/liter, which is 0.033 euros\/liter higher than in Lithuania. For comparison, the average prices of gasoline in Estonia and Latvia are 1.664 euros\/liter and 1.638 euros\/liter respectively.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>The average prices of diesel fuel increased by 1.5-2.3% in all comparable countries, except Germany, where the average price decreased by 0.3%. The price of diesel fuel in Lithuania is 0.053 euros\/liter higher than the average price of diesel fuel in Poland. In Estonia and Latvia, the average price of diesel fuel currently stands at 1.592 euros\/liter and 1.649 euros\/liter respectively.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"G-col G-col-article C-article__body-fs-1\">\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>Currently, the average gasoline prices are 0.5-7% lower than a year ago in all comparable countries, except Poland, where the average price is 2% higher. Over the past 12 months, the average prices of diesel fuel in all comparable countries have decreased by 3-13.7%. During this period, fuel prices have decreased the most in Estonia: the average price of gasoline has decreased by 7%, and the average price of diesel fuel has decreased by 13.7%.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"C-fragment C-fragment-html C-fragment-html--paragraph\">\n<p>LAE reminds that wholesale prices for gasoline increased by 0.05 euros\/liter in January 2024, while diesel fuel prices increased by 0.12 euros\/liter. From February 1st to 7th, wholesale fuel prices slightly decreased &#8212; gasoline decreased by 0.01 euros\/liter, while the price of diesel fuel decreased by 0.001 euros\/liter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div
