On January 25, the Kaunas District Court filed a bankruptcy case against the company.
«The company faced serious financial difficulties that were not temporary and led to the insolvency of the company, it was unable to fulfill its obligations,» the court ruling stated.
In November 2023, the company’s assets were valued at 2.6 million euros, while its short-term assets, debts, and obligations to creditors amounted to 5.2 million euros.
In December 2023, the Lithuanian Court of Appeal determined that the bankrupt company Energijos kodas owed over 3.8 million euros in excise taxes for the period of 2017-2022.
Ave-Matrox has been operating since 1994. The bankruptcy case was initiated at the request of its director, Stragis.
Ave-Matrox owns a terminal (27,800 cubic meters) for storing light petroleum products in Jonava. The company stated on its website that one of its clients is a Finnish .
According to «Sodra» data, in mid-February, Ave-Matrox employed 16 people. The sole shareholder of the company is Luxembourg-based Matrox Holding. The members of its board are Stragis, Vityanis Yuniavichus, and Raymond Henshen.
