«airBaltic confirms that it recently submitted an application to the US Department of Transportation. The application has been filed to explore the company’s opportunities to operate in this market and obtain the necessary documentation if the plans are approved,» the response said.
It is currently unclear whether airBaltic aircraft will be flying to the US from Riga.
«Once airBaltic has more information, we will announce it,» company representatives noted.
