According to the rules, if it is not possible to maintain a minimum distance of 150 meters between entrances or exits on right turns on Category B streets, this distance can be reduced to 100 meters based on the designer’s justification that it will not have a negative impact on traffic safety.
The requirements for reducing the distance do not apply in cases where it is possible to provide right turn entrances and exits from lower category streets or provide access through established or planned road servitudes or other means.
Category B streets are main streets used to connect urban functional zones, districts, centers, main transport stations, and suburban roads.
