According to preliminary data, there was a collision between an Audi and a truck in the village of Gruzdishkay (near Ramigala). The Panevezys police informed that doctors fought for the life of a young woman (born in 1999) who was driving the Audi.
The police reported that the injured woman did not survive, and at 9:23 a.m., doctors pronounced her dead.
It is reported that the car collided with a DAF truck driven by a man born in 1983 (the driver was sober).
Due to the accident, the Via Baltica section is closed, and vehicles are being directed to detours.
