«On Thursday afternoon, the Central Election Commission registered Gintautas Knystautas as an independent participant in the upcoming presidential campaign,» the CEC said.
According to the CEC, G. Knystautas is the thirteenth participant in the political campaign who intends to compete for the position of the head of the state in the elections.
The presidential elections in Lithuania will take place on May 12, 2024.
