Wizz Air временно останавливает полеты на части маршрутов: это коснется и пассажиров из Литвы

«Yesterday, WizzAir recalled all planes on the «Nice» route this year. We have not been informed yet … What should we do: wait or not? Did they cancel this route or not? What happened?» — readers asked.

Flights to Malaga also raised questions. It was reported that flights there would not be operated, but now flights are scheduled for other days. If planes used to fly on Mondays and Fridays, now it seems that planes will fly there on Mondays and Sundays.

Facebook also reported the cancellation of flights to Rome. It is unclear what will happen with Reykjavik.

The editorial team contacted representatives of the airline, who confirmed that some flights were recalled. Wizz Air confirmed that due to engine checks on Pratt & Whitney engines, which are not controlled by the airline, Wizz Air will temporarily suspend flights on some routes in the coming months.

Delfi inquired about which destinations would be affected and how long the checks would last. So far, no answer to this question has been received.

The airline will personally contact its customers who have purchased tickets and inform them of the changes.

Passengers will be offered three options: free re-registration on another flight, a refund of 120% of the amount in WIZZ credits, or a 100% refund.

«Wizz Air apologizes for the inconvenience caused,» company representatives said.

Tadas Vasiliauskas, spokesperson for Lithuanian airports, confirmed that Wizz Air had warned about the technical inspection of its aircraft.
