«We are discussing the possibility of changing the name of Russkaya Street, but there are no decisions yet. The names of other streets are not being discussed at the moment,» said Gabrielius Grubinskas, a representative of the municipality, to the portal.
The proposal to change the name of Russkaya Street appeared in the spring of 2022. At that time, the decision was made to keep it.
Vilnius residents should know that such decisions also depend on them. It only takes a large group of residents to make a similar statement, and the arguments of the people should be compelling.
